I am adding one more thing to my new years resolutions. I will enjoy the exercise of gratitude in going to sleep; before I close my eyes, I will give thanks to God for having shown me the way to a thankful heart and then go to sleep with these grateful thoughts uppermost in your mind. After my prayers I will crawl into bed with only thoughts of goodness. I will turn the rest of my thoughts over to the Lord for the night. It is said that in 30 days a new habit is created ... ya, by this time in Feb I will be a better person.
