My New Years Resolution


Gratitude is such a powerful exercise! Every morning we need to get up and say "Thank you." Every morning, when our feet hit the floor, "Thank you." And then start running through what we are grateful for, as we are brushing our teeth and doing the things we do in the morning. Not just thinking about them and doing some rote routine. But putting it out there and feeling the feelings of gratitude.  The Lord has given us so much to be thankful for each and everyday.  I feel that when we take time to do this, our days will be better and our families will be happier and our relationship to God will be closer.  Sure there are times that we want to just stay in bed... however,  the day will proceed with or without us, with gratefulness or not, with a smile or not, with laughter or not; it is all in "our" attitude. Gratitude is just an attitude.  This is my New Years Resolution. The best and most powerful exercise I can do is to strengthen my "Gratitude" attitude.  Everyday I have a new morning to get up and say "Thank You for ....."
